Arguing is fine; personal attacks aren't. I'm editing out the personal attacks. If I've missed any, please PM me.
Thank you MeditangIf anybody wants to get landrush registered names for cheap, I am afraid this is not the place.

For some of us domaining is a hobby.
As for your comment on not showing us your name coz we may not be living in lavish spaces. Please check commercial space rates of mumbai prime localities and residential property rates. We live in houses that are near half a million dollars and our office if we own one of near about 1000 sq ft in a NOT SO decent space is over a million dollars
So are we as rich as you, probably not.. but we are definitely not poor or those whose opinions dont matter.
And just like when our country was at a similar point 100+years ago, our culturally-immature tycoons built grotesquely extravagant homes, just like Mukesh Amabani. I also believe that India has a fantastic future if it can get its act together, build the infrastructure, round up the cows and clean up the filth.
Still, Indians pointing to Nariman Point to define India overall is totally, totally dishonest and you know it. I've been there, seen it plenty of times, believe it has a wonderful future
but it is still the dirtiest, most impoverished place I've *ever* seen.

Oh yes, there were places that were positively *amazing*. Saw a few neighborhoods I wouldn't have any problem living in... and there was deep, deep poverty the likes of which does not exist anywhere in the west.
Its better to have cows on streets rather than citizens carrying guns around.
I wouldn't trade our guns for your cows.
Yes, yes, I know all about Nariman Point. I own it in .co.in... And I'm also well aware that there are a handful of tycoons who have made a ton of money in India. That happens in every rapidly developing civilization- and just like when our country was at a similar point 100+years ago, our culturally-immature tycoons built grotesquely extravagant homes, just like Mukesh Amabani. I also believe that India has a fantastic future if it can get its act together, build the infrastructure, round up the cows and clean up the filth.

I believe this will change, but lets not be dishonest here. I've picked up the check at restaurants that were more than the average annual income in India. The market economy over there is completely different than it is in the west and Indian domains price accordingly. This doesn't mean they all sell for peanuts, but it does mean that a lot of 'dreamers' are going to hold and renew names that they will never see a profit from, since their expectations are delusionaly high.
(and PS- we're kind of on the same page about Indian domains being a 'hobby'. That's all they are to me, too. I keep mine in a personal account, totally separate from the names I lease back to my company. They're just a fun way to keep up on a fascinating place, using my own native language that is still relevant over there. I think that's why I like Indian geos so much. Of the emerging Asian giants, I would really prefer to speculate on .cn, but their restrictions pretty much prevent that)
An average income guy in a metro city in india who lives in a joint family has 3-4 earning members in the family and if he lives in his own house, he individually is richer than your average US guy. If he owns a business, he is richer than your rich US guy and if he owns an office at nariman point, he is filty rich and can have the best of the facilities delivered at his doorstep and has people from developed countries hungry to get buziness from him.
Wont spend more time educating you on how indians have a history of savings and so their bank accounts are filled with a million but they still live a average life because thats the importance of savings in India.
To each his own ... may you realize someday that each person you talk to is capable of paying a million dollar depending on his degree of desperation.
