LLL.in Sales Report Thread
March 30, 2008
INForum has just launched the LLL.in Sales Report Thread. So far, the market seems to be all over the place with no clear patterns. However, the recent LLL.in buyout definitely has increased the value of these domains. Keep track of the latest sales of LLL.in domains in this thread. And, if you know of any sales, please let us know.
IIT.in Sells for 4 Figures
March 29, 2008
The on again, off again sale of IIT.in looks like it has finally concluded. This time the buyer is none other than the former owner of these forums, Steve, so I’m confident the sale will be completed. (Heh, hopefully the funds from selling the forum came in handy). The final sale price is $5,900 – a good deal for both the buyer and the seller. Congratulations!

Systematic.com – Another 6 Figure Domain Sale
March 26, 2008
Via Sahar’s blog, he announces that Systematic.com is sold for $400,000. A sweet deal for both the buyer and the seller. The buyer is currently using the domain Systematic.dk, and appears to have wanted to get the dot com. The seller was using the domain as a website in conjunction with another website and decided to consolidate their web presence on just the one website.
It was probably a bit more than a domain sale – as the domain is aged, has pagerank, backlinks, Google trust, traffic and more. Still, the high price is probably mostly attributable to the buyer being very motivated.
It also makes me wonder how many companies out there are sitting on gold mines without even knowing it. Here, a company raised $400,000 simply by moving from 2 websites to 1. This probably also saves them a lot of money in only needing to market one web presence.
